Description

V-rings are rubber seals used on rotary shafts to prevent dirt, moisture, and other unwanted substances from entering the oil seal, housing, or any other area where it is needed, while retaining lubricating oil. V-rings work well on their own and in combination with rotating shaft seals, helping to extend the life of bearings, oil seals and shafts.

advantage

Easy – There is little preparation required for installation. Just make sure the shaft is clean and try, applying a layer of lubricant to the V-ring lip and sliding the V-ring down until the lip contacts the seal coupling surface. The lip presses the coupling surface of the seal pair tightly, and the pressure and friction are very small.

Economical – Wide tolerances allow one V-ring to fit multiple shaft sizes. Its durability ensures a long working life and no damage during installation

Versatility – Excellent in dry applications, on rotating and oscillating axes, and at high speeds in excess of 3000 FPM.

choose

We offer V-rings in 3 forms: (VA, VS and VL) and in two materials: NBR (black) and Viton® (brown).

VA: The most common style. Available in a wide range of sizes from ID to 2.5MM~1810MM. They have a short installation length and are commonly used in gearboxes, electric motors and drives.

VS: From ID 4MM ~180 MM, usually used in agricultural and automotive environments

VL: Available from ID 99MM ~540MM. They have a short installed length and are suitable for applications with limited sealing chambers or as part of a labyrinth seal application.
